CPR airway management training

I'm tired. But it's worth it. Every single second!

8-12p.m: lectures
12-2p.m: free
2-4p.m: skills practical class
4-5p.m: free
5-10p.m: CPR and airway management training class!

erm.. This schedule does not look so bad compared to the section(s) that were having lectures and practical classes from 8-4p.m! Rehat plak satu jam je, then ada kelas CPR plak! Mmg penat physically and mentally. Sian kat diorg.

But for what is worth, kelas CPR tu mmg best! Rugi la sapa2 yang tak pergi. Class yang mementingkan practical berbanding theoretical mmg tak senang nak rasa ngantok. Even though ada gak yang tertido masa DR bagi briefing on the methods on using equipment yang ada atas meja tu. Penat sangat diorg agaknyer.

Patient aku mati!! Huwaaa! Terlebih 4 minute on searching the vocal cord for incubation. Nak buat lagi skali utk redeem balik maruah aku yang tercalar ni, tp dah tak sempat. Xpe2, nnt second class wat betol2. Confirm patient aku tak mati nyer lain kali!

The DR said:

"As a physician you must be prepared with knowledge, skills and equipment. By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."

So, nak tak nak, masing-masing lepas ni kena ada wood tongue depressor, torch, stethoscope, hammer and so on and so forth. Ha! Pocket mask pun kena ada dalam pocket sentiasa! Mana la tau tetiba nampak ada patient airway obstruction kat tgh2 jalan ke, boleh la mempergunakan equipment yang ada tu!

CPR and airway management training- to be continued...

p/s:
patient kami adalah sebuah (ke, sebijik?) patung! don't be confused yea~ hehe :p
